Manage notification preferences, contacts, and dashboard bell alerts for each login.
The Notification Center is a unified hub for all alerts Panda Video sends to an account: billing, usage, video processing, Panda AI and security. Each login chooses what to receive and through which channel, registers where to receive it, and sees alerts in the dashboard bell.
Notifications are sent to the contacts registered in the Notification Center, not to the login email. If the login has no email or phone contact, email, SMS and WhatsApp notifications are not sent — only the dashboard bell receives them. Every login starts with an empty contact list.
Events and channels
There are 14 configurable events in 4 categories, each with the channels it supports: 40 event-channel pairs in total.

VIDEO and PANDA_AI events do not support SMS or WHATSAPP. Sending an unsupported pair returnsCHANNEL_UNAVAILABLE.
Usage limits (bandwidth & storage)
Bandwidth and storage have a single toggle in the UI. The 85% alert (BANDWIDTH_NEAR_LIMIT, STORAGE_NEAR_LIMIT) follows the preference of the 100% alert (BANDWIDTH_EXCEEDED, STORAGE_EXCEEDED). Sending both names with different values in the same PUT returns CONFLICTING_PREFERENCE.
Event grouping
Video ready, video/folder deleted, dubbing ready, captions ready, AI package ready and Shorts ready are grouped in a 30-minute window: one card with item_count and data.count instead of one alert per item.
Non-configurable alerts
10 alerts are always sent by email only to the account owner and do not appear in the preferences screen: payment confirmed, renewal in 7 days, card expiring, cancellation confirmed, new member in organization, account ready, signup confirmation, email change request, and the 85% bandwidth/storage alerts (which follow the 100% preference).
Notification language
Each login has a language field (pt, en or es). Notifications are sent in this language. Logins without a language set receive them in English.
Permissions and sub-users
The recipient depends on the role permission: billing and usage require Plan access, video requires video access, Panda AI requires AI access, Shorts requires Shorts editing. The account owner receives everything. Losing a permission removes the login from the recipient list without changing their preferences.
Dashboard bell retention
Cards are retained for 7 days and then deleted, read or not.
